In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.

In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.

The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
