The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

According to the formal release, "An unusual confrontation leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where whispers of banned practices and terrifying metamorphoses resonate through the darkness." The plot features a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who charges the characters with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a hidden group.

The mission focuses on "bizarre trials and a monstrous foe" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Changes

The trailer showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview concludes with a dramatic moment showing a character, presumably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who finish the quest will acquire an special katana alongside multiple objects hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
